  1. On the PRS circuit the APA bastard brakes rule. http://precisionrifleblog.com/2015/08/21/muzzle-brake-summary-of-field-test-results/
  2. Sorry...rifle length.
  3. So, quick question. I'm barrel shopping right now, and what's the proper gas port size for an 18" .308 barrel? Thanks
  4. Also, FYI I'm talking about rifle extensions, not carbine. Mounting a Luth MBA-1
  5. I was looking at the set from Guntec at Optics Planet. Anyone know anything about them?
  6. So, I understand that Armalite and AR308 (DPMS) aren't completely compatible. However, are the receiver extensions/buffers/springs? I need to get a buffer/tube/spring for my Aero build, and there's some makes out there I know nothing of, however Armalite is a known quality.
  7. yeah, yeah....I know. They're the only place that had any though.
  8. Found one at CTD of all places....
  9. Necro post here, but will the flutes clear a forward assist Aero M5 upper?
  10. Ok, So I need a BCG. How does the AIM nitrided BCG compare to the Aero nitrided? Any other recommendations?
  11. Magpul's sending me the proper backstrap!
  12. Also, what's the difference between the M118 Chamber of the Hybrid compared to the Hybrid Match chamber of the Fulton/Criterion barrel? Pros/Cons to either?
  13. Yeah, I just found out they make a Type 1 (MAG520) and a Type 2 (MAG521...which is what I got from Primary). Evidently, I need the type 1 backstraps.
  14. Ok, so I'm gradually getting this thing together. Anyway, I went to install my MIAD 1.1 today, and it wouldn't fit without a gap between the grip and receiver. I think the curve of the "beavertail" doesn't match the receiver, as it works with the flat non-beavertail backstrap (which is ugly and uncomfortable). Anyone else have this issue? Issue of the grip or the receiver? Any chance Magpul might have another backstrap? Any good ideas for trimming the backstrap that won't look like a dog's ass?
