I just got my ma charging handle and it is pretty sweet rss. There is a group buy window that will let you get it at a discount here.

Wash, i need to get a claw and a torque wrench and moly lube still. The barrel and gas stuff should get here this week giving me time to buy those tools, and save for the hand guard.

Wash, I ordered that barrel, a aero .750 low profile gas block, and a mid length gas tube.now I just need a hand guard and barrel nut I think. I would like a non tacticiol looking one if possible, is there anything else I am missing for the barrel install? Thanks for all the help so far.

Thanks wash I had my eye on that barrel but wasn't sure if it was a good one or not. There is a gun show this weekend if I can't find a local on I will order that one m.

That sounded desperate lol, what I meant was I want to have the build done before the electionin case it goes bad and I can't get the parts I need to finish. I need a barrel, gas block, gas tube, and handguards to finish

Hopefully one will be on sale as money is a little tight lol.

Ok so I am almost ready to order a barrel, what is the best 300 or sub 300$ barrel for hunting and light range work. Also need advice on the length 16-18 inch barrels is what I am interested in. Thanks for all of the advice

Thanks for the kind words rr and everyone, I am just as excited as you to get my build finished, I can't wait until I can go to the range with mine. If you were closer I would invite you to go sight yours in with me. Can't wait to see a picture of your build, my wife says I am obsessed but I am just focused on my build lol.

I may need to start a new thread for my build now? Not sure I guess lol, after I can save up for the rest of the build I need to pick out a barrel and handguard. I am not sure yet, but am now thinking now of a 18 inch barrel, a Non tactical round tube handguard. Not sure if what gas block and tube to go with I guess when I get the money for the barrel I will be serious about asking for opinions.

This is the stock and buffer kit I got from armalite

Ya I had to get the a2 stock with the armalite buffer tube and buffer and spring

There is a gap between the stock and the back of the action, and I was wondering if I was missing a piece there not sure.

Here is my build so far, aero upper and lower, aero lower parts kit, armalite buffer,tube,and spring,aero bcg, and mech defense charging handle. Not sure on the barrel and handguard and muzzle brake yet, was wanting a sixteen inch barrel, I was surprised already how heavy it is.

Armalite rifle extension with buffer and spring,magpul moe grip, aero lower parts kit, and mech armor sniper charging handle.

I had a hard time finding the buffer extension, and buffer,and spring but finally found them at armalite. I picked up a magpul grip for it too, now just need a lpk and the lower is done. I'll post pics when I at least get the lower done lol.

It looks very nice Bob, mine will have to be a two tone I'm no painter lol.

Thanks for the replies guys, I will order those parts next week when I get paid. The pic of the moe stock is awesome I think I will go olive drab with mine too.After that I need to figure out the lower parts kit lol.

I finally got my aero upper and lower today, and can't wait to get started on my build. I am going for a rifle length stock, with a 16 inch barrel.this rifle would be used for range use, and hunting kind of a all around rifle. This will have to be bought Johnny cash style lol, I am trying to figure out which buffer and extension to get, and who actually has one in stock. I was thinking of using the mogpul moe rifle stock, and thats as far as I can get right now.
