My first rifle was an ak clone wasr 10. With surprisingly decent accuracy (2moa@100yds) I got the bug and fearing the horror stories of my crazy Vietnam vet neighbor (lord rest his warrior soul) I stuck with kalishnakov pattern and picked up a psl 54c in 7.62x54. I was happily able, with effort and patience, to squeeze out 1 MOA YAY!!!!! Got tired of fighting to get that over the years, and a new ex military buddy of mine sat me down and extolled the history improvement and accuracy of the AR platform. I have little issue with taking the word of a Marine out of the sand wars. Sand was the ar's worst enemy and his served him faithfully. But the 7.62x54 was an awesome round and if I wanted that kinda punch it was to be .308 or 30.06 I'm starting with a .308 dpms platform kit from moriarti arms and after that the Noreen 30.06. Rifle There's no replacement for displacement man.

Hyperfire ed2 not hyper touch

The rifle arrived early. It was an everything but the lower kit. I took inventory attempting not to be distracted by the shiney barrel. It's all here every pin and spring. It fits up to both my warrhog poly and my noreen aluminum 80% lowers. I bought a hyper touch ed2 trigger from ranier just to hedge my bets but the one they sent isnt bad. It all fits except the trigger group because I haven't finished the lowers yet. Pictures when I get it finished All said Moriartyarms kicks A$$ I am loving this kit. They need better websitee pictures though .

Absolutely man. Saw a good deal for prvi partizan 145grain .308 lead core for 279.00 500 rounds. I used to feed their stuff to my old psl 54c, but I'm not sure how it'll perform in this platform.

Welcome from another newbe I was raised in Hunter ND. Storm of 97 sand bagging in Grand Forks one day and fargo the next. 78degrees below zero wind chill in water up to my knees. These folks are hard core man! I'm sticking to the desert.

Thanks to all the old pros on thsee forums for all the knowledge I've gleaned lurking these past months. Im a soviet weapon convert who recently sold his custom psl 54c to own the infamous Black Rifle in what I believe is the ultimate user friendly round. Parts are scarce and time is of the essence so my rocky start is a noreen 80% lower and a jt tac jig that I was told by the gun show guy would fit. (Thanks gatshack) Well im not a perfect man. Next I took a gamble on a gun store called moriarty arms who only had three reviews that I could find online but positive ones. They seem to utilize black hole arms and aero parts.she's been really nice so far. it's an everything but the lower 24" diamond fluted barrel dpms style kit. I think they will do right by me and maybe I can get this thing through the break in before the snow flies or the hillary decends apon what's left of our republic. So if you have any info on moriarty arms probably please share.
