What is it what does it do and where can find it

I currently live in NY

So I got my armalite free float handgaurd in the mail today with the low profile gas block I was so excited until I realized I can't put it on because NY State pinned and welded the tip of my barrel and the washer that they decided to use is bigger then I can fit the gas block around so I'm out 250 unless I can find someone who can file it down

I'm from NY I have an armalite ar10a I'd be willing to trade with you my barrels pinned and welded so I can't get the handgaurd on it I want only 10 round through it

My barrel is pinned and welded so I can't get the gas block on or off . It's an armalite ar10 tactical handgaurd with the low profile gas block all brand new never used ask $170 bought it for 250

I know this has a lot to do with grainage of bullets just not sure how to apply it

I've maybe poop 50 rounds out of it . I haven't had it that long I haven't taken out the buffer tube I do want a new charging handle any suggestions?

What twist rate should I have on my AR10 or what are the pros and cons of certain twist rates my armalite came with 1.11.25 twist

It's running well just the charging handle feel like I gotta put more effort into it then watching most other people do it's not crazy hard

Haha she loves that I love guns she just not as into it as me. I'm from NY so I have a bunch a safe act poop done with my rifle as well I'm a shorter guy and they pin them all the way back my little t rex arms gotta start stretching just to go to the range

Beautiful gun what do I gotta get into to at least get it down to 7ish , btw is your charging handle a bitch to pull back sometimes is it something that breaks in

What's the lowest some of you got it down to mines and armalite ar10a feel heavy to carry will the free float handgaurd help? It's just the plastic one I got on it now

Haha just moved I bought my first AR about a year ago it's armalite ar10a I just recently started updating it I got armalites tactical free float handgaurd as well as a mugpul ACS carbine stock and a bcm gunfighter grip all cosmetic stuff really looking forward to getting a trigger and some good optic set up for it . My other AR is a Smith and Wesson m&p 15-22 I just got it the other day it's a lot of fun to shoot . I'll talk with anyone about guns all day long love guns and shooting and learning .

I want a 223 I was thinking about checking out PSA I know it's cheap but my armalite set me back 1800 and I can build a 223 from PSA for 350

I've seen they have a magnifying scope you can flip away that goes with my vortex strikefire but it kind of seems gimmicky to me not knocking it just seems like it could have problems hold a true zero

Max distance 300 yards I feel comfortable at 150 and under considering the only place I have to practice max out at 150 . I'll also use it for hunting whitetail maybe a black bear if it keeps trying to get into my chicken coop . And the money 300 or less but I'm willing to wait and save up a little more if I had to

Mines going to be used for hunting / shtf type gun I do plan on getting a bolt action .308 to hunt with once I have the funds to do so figured it would make sense instead of buying different types of ammo . Alot of people tell me it's dumb to just have a red dot on it because it's a long range rifle and I'd love to have a place to hit targets 400 yards out but I'm reduced to haviing a 100 yard range so I'm kind of conflicted

Ok so the gun is an armalite ar10a . It took me awhile but I got the free float handgaurd low profile gas block and a new Magpul stock for it . Next thing I want is a new trigger . I was wondering what most of you rub as far as optics right now I have a red dot vortex strikefire with diamondhead back up sights I know I need a scope something reasonably priced with good eyes relief . Also any tips as far as upgrades . Up keep anything at all would be great I'm definitely trying to learn about the weapon more then anything m
