home grown/ import/ bolt on's/ makes mo difference to me.... as an EXPERT connoisseur of "TA TA' s" I observed many a nice pair! (there are NO bad hooters.... 'some's just better than others! population of Kingman has increased dramatically in last year or two, plus all the snowbirds are here, building inspector used to do 5-10 new home inspections a week, now its 5-10 per DAY! 80 degree weather, plenty of sunshine, and the opportunity to show off your goods........ makes it all worth it!

saw some BIG guns today. spent the day at the RT66 kingman, street drags, from VW's to alcohol dragsters, even "Hemi under glass" big guns were blown alky cars, (pro mod) this track is 660 ft, (1/8th mi) some really hot street cars, and some hell cats, ( 797hp stock) going back tomorrow for more! LOL oh...... there were some lovely TATA's there. ( breast cancer awareness month, remember?) I choose NOT to work it , as I wanted to watch, not work. hows that for getting off track?

hey, my "hello" thread, has turned into a brawl, ?? seems fair to me, after all what are friends for, heck I loan out the wife all the time, so whats the big deal? OH,, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned the wife bit, cause if there was ever a prude............ that'd be her. ( I'm safe, as she would never read this forum) actually seeing the direction this has gone, makes me feel right a home, as at my age, I start one thing... and before long I have no clue as to what I was doing, then .. or now! so..... carry on, and enjoy!

any of you ever get that funny feeling , you may have gotten over your head in something? all this "canned chicken" talk has me concerned. , and the fact some one promotes it!!!! all I asked for was some info on .308, now were talking canned chicken, I may rethink my entry into this group of degenerates, then again.,..... I've never been one to shy away from a fight, or a good laugh. so ,I'll just wait ,and see how deep into this I get suckered into !

yupper. stopped watching news some time back,. astounding as to how much BS/ fake news. plus how much blatant lies by all parties, honestly makes me glad I'm an old fart, as I won't have to see how screwed up this world will become. but does make me worry about the kids/ Gran kids.

that one is a WE4, light weight version of a grand national, 1547 made, basically same as a GN, I had at one time 8 turbo buicks including GNX163, just put a new motor in that one, still a V6, but around 450hp, just put 18in wheels (GNX style) on it, still have the orig wheels in the garage. getting ready to install built 455 in the 72 GSX, 455 on steroids ,LOL 57 is a 383 sbc, 4spd AUTO , (overdrive) I have to rob from the car funds, to go play .308 ,

I'm a newbie here, but still have some hobbies, I have an addiction, there is no known cure, it consumes large portions of my disposable income, it causes mental anguish at time, and physical stress/ pain all the time, I do enjoy it, and have for over 50yrs,, but lately , I've been slacking on my time that I devote to it, old age? lack of interest? interests change? who knows, but 25 to 75% of my every day is devoted to this addiction. and I continue to feed it, LOL I'n really not complaining, or bragging, , just stating that my hobby IS addicting! it does keep me out of bars, casinos, houses of ill repute, etc.etc. these are three of my current addictions, there has been ALOT more, the list is very long, I'm talking 30-40 + cars

passionate about this aren't you? so basically , you get what you pay for! but at this point, it seems no one offers a quality 7.62 AR, unless you wanna spend upwards of $2000, then its a crap shoot, at least thats what I'm interpreting from your info you provided. well ,Tom already ordered the lo cost 7.62 , semi auto, so well see , all the parts came from the same vendor, and are supposed to to be compatible. our armorer has agreed to assist in assembly, as he has over 50yrs experience in assembly/ mods,/ upgrades of 7.62. he has a Daniels defense 7.62, and a Aero precision 7.62, I have no idea what platform they are, just that they shoot 7.62.

Tom (neighbor) bought the complete upper, and stripped lower from same manufacture, they said they offer comprehensive support if needed. we will see............

I'm out of town , on rte 66 , (BOONIES) and can ,and do, shoot from my patio. I have 500yrd, and 1000yrd targets set out, and was having fun until my neighbor ( 1mi away) stopped by and we did some shooting with his 6.5 creedmoor. thats when I determined my .223 wasn't going to cut it, at 1000 yrs, he could ding the target 9 out 10 times, and I could ding it 1 out of 10 LOL ( lucky shot)

THX! 98 is from AZ, so thats one of his problems! LOL ( I'm also from AZ-and love it! for over 20 yrs.) I was not aware that the term "ar10" was specfic, I thought like ar15, it was a style of weapon, now I'm wondering if ar15 is correct ??? I did get an education , and I do appreciate it, I didn't take offence to anyones input, as I hope no one took offence to my lack of knowledge about the .308 platform. I'll wait until my neighbors build arrives, and have our armorer see what he thinks, not saying he is an expert, but he, and I ,were in the military when they used the 7.62 as duty weapon,

north of PHX, about 200 mi (mohave county)

in reading more, I see there are 2 platforms AR10 and DPMS I realize they are not interchangeable, that was never my question, my original question was anyone have VALID experience or 1st hand knowledge of CBC ind, products, ? but it seems it got off track, I came here for information, education. well I did get an education, LOL

being new to this, I question why they would call it an AR10 , OR, why it isn't an AR10? if it uses 7.62 nato rounds, and fires semi auto, isn't that an AR10? or is "AR10" one manufactures protected name? or is it splitting hairs? not trying to argue with anyone, I see many ,many companies using the term AR10, yet are they all trash, cause they use the AR10 term? my neighbors AR10 should be here in a few days , the armorer at the sheriffs dept wants to see it, I value his opinion, as he maintains all the AR15/M5, and full auto weapons for the SO. I was trying to see if this company has a worth while product, but.... just cause they call it an AR10, well , you get my drift,

my buddy just ordered a Ar10 upper kit from CBC industries. I thought before I do, I'd ask about this company, good, bad, in between? not a high dollar build, THX
