A horrible situation capably handled by a concealed carrier, who made a great head shot and dropped him cold.

I have a Caldwell brass catcher on order for use at the bench at our gun club. Tired of chasing brass and saw another member with one securely anchored to the shooting bench with a large wood vice clamp (not right words), but you know what I mean.

Hey guys, I was just browsing around and bumped into this forum, had never noticed it before. I like the idea of a AR10 dedicated forum and thought I'd join up and enjoy the information. My AR10 is a LMT MWS .308, with 20" SS barrel, a LMT DMR stock, a Geissele SSA-E trigger, etc. The weak point on the system is my Harris Bipod. I have the Nightforce NXS 2.5-20 scope on it. I'm looking to upgrade to an Atlas or Accu-TAC bipod system in the new year and am waiting to hear about the new Atlas bipod being announced this month. I am not a reloader so I rely on commercial loads. The very best results I've had with the system are using PRIME AMMO 175gr SMKs. I was getting .37" MOA groups out of it (until I ran out of the ammo, have to buy some more). I got that result consistently shooting 5 round groups at 100 yards, with four groups. My gun club has a rifle range that only goes out to 400 yards, but we have 4" plates hanging at that distance, along with other sizes, and I was consistently hitting the 4" plates dead-center. So, I'm pleased with this result from this rifle.
