  1. Technically, I'm in Hillard. Not too far from 70w.
  2. I'm in west Columbus. I have been to Zanesville a few times. There is a trendy coffee shop downtown. Funny story, I actually nailed a chick in the downstairs bathroom. Fond memories of that place.
  3. Thanks to everyone who has made time to say hello. I have lived so many places over the course of my life. PA, MD, FL, SC, IA, CA and OH to name a few, that I found it strange how many of you I may have been able to relate to geographically. I think things have finally settled down and roots have taken in Central Ohio. If anyone is close by, hit me up.
  4. I was USMC 93-06 and the short answer is no. In training we were given basic ear plugs, but on deployment, there was nothing. It is my understanding that this changed circa 2020-2021 but I cannot confirm this. The best we had were cigarette butts or our fingers if we had time. This would have been most prevalent with breaching charges and such. I cannot speak for certain with the folks in armor though I know some folks did wear headphones for comms.
  5. For me the switch wasn't so much of a switch. Based on my practical experience, I felt that a full battle rifle would have served us well. A good bit of our direct contact happened just outside of the effective range of our M4s and the goat lovers knew this. So for me it was natural based on experience to embrace the 308/7.62x51.
  6. Correct. Poconos, Jim Thorp, Hazelton. Etc.. That said, I spent a good bit of time in Pittsburgh. Minios pizza. Squirrel Hill I believe.
  7. Every hear of Tanaqua PA? My home town.
  8. If not too much to ask, I would really like to hear more about the potential issues. I only have 40 rounds through it, but given I have had issues on the first shot with other systems, I'll take it.
  9. Ohio here and it was my pleasure.
  10. Someone recommended I do this so here goes. Real name is Mark I served as an officer in Marine Corps for 13 years. Though I had an Human Intel MOS, I served in infantry for 6 years before completing BRC. Then 7 more. My degrees are in Mechanical Engineering and Nursing. I work as an instructor part time and an RN full time. My most recent purchase was a PA10 and so far so good. I find it extremely accurate and have had zero issues. Only complaint is the stock.. stock which seems a little loose for me. I look forward to learning from and meeting you folks.
  11. Im not great at this forum stuff. But I gave adding a picture a whack. This is suprising because the reviews I read on the PA10 were good. What are the issues? It's the stock...stock.
  12. I had my first experience with my PA10 and honestly it was fantastic. I am new to PA, so I have no idea what Gen it is, but so far so good. My only complaint is that the stock is a little ricky ticky. What stock do you folks recommend that would have less play?
