6132expert Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 I think it needs some more work and imagination. That is an honest answer, but if you like it that is what is important. <thumbsup>
sellmarkguy Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Well I can certainly respect your opinionDo you have any suggestions as to how I can improve it??
6132expert Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 http://308ar.com/forum/index.php/topic,814.0.htmlRead this thread. You may not want CAMO but it could spark an idea or 2. Its just all about imagination and taking your time. You can use a pencile to trace a designe and then trace it on paper to over lay on the other side. Maybe change the color by a few shades on some of th parts.Remember this IMO and if you are happy with it then leave it alone and dont worry what others think. <thumbsup>
sellmarkguy Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Thanks for that. I have seen that post before and yes, his is very cool!I think I am going to use the same method (broom straw), but differentcolors. I'll let you know how it turns out.
6132expert Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 When I was at MCT in Jacksonville I remember an Infantry SSgt showing me how to do face camo with pine straw and it was awsome.
sellmarkguy Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 When I was at MCT in Jacksonville I remember an Infantry SSgt showing me how to do face camo with pine straw and it was awsome. That's great..Can you share any of the info on how to do it?
6132expert Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 As far as the face its just putting camo face paint on the tips of pine needles and brushing it on.Your rifle it is a matter of laying different size graSS blades , straw or whatever on it and lightly spraying then remove nd do agine if another color is disiried. I wouldnt do more than 3 more colors, but spray lightly and evenly each time and let all layers completely dry
sellmarkguy Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Thanks for the information. <thumbsup>
