wrecktech Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 I've got a factory SASS that I've shot primarily with .308 Black Hills 168 gr. factory match ammo. I've noticed that about one fired case in five has a spilt in the neck of the cartridge case. This doesn't happen with the same ammo being fired in a Rem. 700 SPS. Is this something unique to the SASS chamber or should I be using a different ammo / load in there?Art
survivalshop Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Have or check the Chambers Head space , to start with . Photo's of the split in the case ,would help.
