Low profile gas block for a free float quad rail?

Where did you all get a low profile gas block for a free float quad rail that is compatible with a 308? My barrel diameter is .750 but I heard that the gas systems for a Ar-15 and Ar-10 are different?

Correct terminology may be causing you trouble. Your referring to the AR-10 in the DPMS LR-308 section. Only the Armalite is an AR-10. The DPMS LR-308 while similar looking is a different weapon. Which are you asking about? Im not well versed on the AR-10 gas system but and non SASS DPMS can use any milspec gas block providing you choose the block with a bore to match your barrel. There is another wrinkle with DPMS. The current upper receivers have a picatinny that's higher above the bore than similar weapons. A front sight mounted on a non DPMS railed gas block might not have sufficient elevation adjustment.

I'm sorry, I meant the Lr-308 AP4. I'm trying to find a low profile gas block that I can use. I'm about to buy the fulton armory liberator 12 inch free float but I have a carbine dpms

ok keep in mind the Fulton Armory needs a special wrench which they don't sell. You need to buy a spanner wrench and modify it. We have a thread someplace on it here. Also go to the bottom of the home page for info http://308ar.com/
