ARMSON O.E.G. (???)

I just discovered the existence of these from another site.  Appears the early versions my have been used by our special forces in the Son Tay POW camp raid in 1970.  I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience(s) with these maybe?  Kind of looks like a cheaper ACOG concept.

I've always thought they were interesting. Handled an old one at a gun show years ago and never could picture using it. Occluding the vision of my dominant eye with the sight itself kind of turned me off. 

Great history behind the concept, and it would be cool to put on a "retro" build, but not my cup of tea.

Thank you for the information.  I've never seen one even at a gun show.  Never even heard of them.  Blew my mind something like this was available in 1970.  I didn't think that red dots and/or lasers come out until the 90(s).
