Cw434
I just purchased a 308 oracle(new height upper), a leupold mark ar 4x12, and Burris pepr mount. I have to wait till Friday to pick it all up. I am trying to track down some info required for leupold to make a custom bullet drop turret and am having no luck. Does anyone know the height of the centerline of bore to rail?
98Z5V
I can take a measurement of an old-height upper. all that's left from that measurement is the math of the difference between old and new.
Cw434
That would be great.
98Z5V
My apologies, man - I need to bring my digital caliper home from work with me, and I keep forgetting. I'll remember it tomorrow. :-[
98Z5V
Centerline of bore to top of rail, on my DPMS old style (2.063") is 1.35".New height uppers are 2.003", as discussed here:http://308ar.com/forum/index.php/topic,260.0.htmlI imagine, based on the math, that your centerline of bore to top of rail measurement would be around 1.29".
