Shooter In MO

Hello.  My name is Dave.  I'm new to 308 AR's but not shooting.  I have a LaRue/CMMG AR in 5.56 as well as a Winchester 70 in .223, an M1 Garand and a Savage Mk II Tactical in .22 LR.  I joined this forum to get more information on the platform and caliber because I'm contemplating an Armalite somewhere down the road.
