Mags compatible with DPMS GII

Hello all! New here from Alaska. I have heard that PMags will work in the DPMS GII only they will not lock the bolt back? Any options other than the DPMS steel mags?

I never heard of that. I haven't had the pleasure of dissecting a GII yet, but I can't imagine it being too far off from standard in regards to the bolt hold device.

I own a GII, It holds the bolt open with Pmags.

i don't remember which Gen right off. I can check later.  Just off the top of my head, I know it's a 10 round Pmag i pick up for hunting

I just looked through my receipt and it's a M3 10 rounder.
