commanderjjones
Here's another newbie question for you guys........... Is the LR308 buffer tube the same diameter as the AR15? I'm wanting to install a buffer tube sling mount and need to know if the ones from an AR15 will work. I can't seem to find any that are AR10 specific, so I assume they must interchange??? If it matters, I'm putting it on a DPMS Oracle.
98Z5V
Same, but you need to know if it's mil-spec diameter (1.14") or commercial diameter (1.17"). Edited March 26, 2018 by 98Z5V
commanderjjones
That's good to know. Dang, owning an AR10 is worse than owning a Ford. Can't just give the year model, but gotta know the day it was built in order to get parts..........hahaha

Still remember arguing with the guys at VatoZone about wheel bearings. "Choose the late-year bearings. It doesn't have top-hat hubs. Trust me, choose the late-year bearings. Yes, that's why it's asking -- it's about the hubs. Dammit, give me the computer!" Wait, I thought we were talking about a DPMS...
