Are the Ballistics from a bolt gun different from a carbine in 308?

Hello

I'm new to the forum, reason for becoming a member is I'm having a AR-10 build. Is there a difference in the ballistics in a Rd's of 147gr to 175gr from a 18inch barrel of a carbine and a bolt action 22inch? at a range of 400 to 600meters?

If loaded the same or the same ammo , the 22" bbl. will have a little edge in velocity down range , but not much.

If you plan to reload , reloading for a semi auto is a little different than a bolt action .

Magizine will limit COL & you will have to full length re-size the case.
