From texas. New to ARs as well. been shooting all my life and just recently shot my first ar. Went an ordered the LR308 with a few upgrades last week and cant wait till it gets here. Anyone know the current lead time on rifles from dpms? or even a ballpark. the dealer told me about 1 or 2 months. just curious if this is true  or not.

With DPMS it depends on what you order. Could be two months, could be a year. Try finding it on the shelf
