onebigelf Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Does the LAR-308 trigger use the same parts as the AR-15?I have an extra "Trigger-Job in a Bag" kit. The stock trigger needs help. Not creepy or gritty, but so heavy I felt like I should be just hitting it with a brick.John
fr3db3ar Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 I'm not an expert, more of an acolyte ;DI believe they are the same. When I look at my R15 and my 308 Oracle they look exactly the same.
LR-308 5O Posted August 27, 2011 Report Posted August 27, 2011 Yes, they are the same...... The only problems I have heard with exchanging triggers between the 5.56 and .308's have been on some DPMS' when using the RRA hammers...... some people have run into interference between the hammer and the bolt carrier...
onebigelf Posted August 27, 2011 Author Report Posted August 27, 2011 Cool.. The kit is just springs. Thanks!John
98Z5V Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 Moved it back, and changed the topic header, man... <thumbsup>
onebigelf Posted August 28, 2011 Author Report Posted August 28, 2011 Yeah, some days I'm more "challenged" than others. It's a LR-308 with a loose nut on the trigger...John
