self built .308 and brass feed markings

I Built my first DPMS pattern lower and bought a .308 upper from KM Tactical at bargain basement cost. Yeah I know, ya get what ya pay for.....

Went to range with 1 box "Hornady American Whitetail165gr. Interlock" factory ammo. I am using SR25 type magazines. Functions perfectly with mild recoil.  Groups were more of a spread (3"@50yds) but I was shooting for break-in and function test not pinpoint accuracy. Anyways, I'm getting these dimples on all the case necks and some occasional dents and scrapes on the fired cases.

You guys see this a lot? Does this need to be corrected?

I just finished reading your post on aftermarket .308 parts and problems with mismatched gas and recoil systems.

I bought a complete upper so I don't know the barrel manufacturer.  KM Tactical had like 40+ on hand so I figure they bought out a liquidation or something, but maybe not.  I don't see anything in the chamber that might cause this issue.  I did clean the bore and chamber before the first shots.  I was thinking the marks might be a magazine or feed ramp issue but I don't know that.
