Well my rifle got to the shop Friday evening, and I picked it up first thing Saturday morning. I got a LR308B, it checked out " all's well ".  <thumbsup> I brought it home and mounted a Leupold Vari-X II 3x-9x in Warne QD rings. Everything went good with the mounting, really pretty straight forward. I also put a Stoney Point Bi pod on the rifle. I have a Harris Bi pod but was the next size up and a little to tall. Luckily I had the scope, rings and bi pods in the gun box, so that was great not having the extra expense. I'm going to try and get out in the next couple of days and start the break in process.

Let us know how she shoots. Are you going to do the recommended break in? It's a pain but it makes a difference on cleaning and how well it shoot down the road. enjoy.

The rifle shoots very well! I'm 25 rds. thru the break in, and happy with the accuracy. Haven't been able to get back to the range the last couple of weeks, son is getting married, really busy. I'll be back at it hot and heavy next month.
