LUCKYB40
This is a "Newbie" question: Just how clean does that bolt carrier need to be? Pulled the bolt out and saw an excessive amount of build up at "what I call the bottom" DPMS Oracle .308 / New / Fired 20 rounds throught it. Thanks in advance for all infromation given. This is the site to learn <thumbsup>
98Z5V
Militarily, I was always taught that any buildup in there would make my weapon exlode and send me to the moon - I found out that was a lie. You can dig all that stuff out of there if you want, or soak it with some foaming bore cleaner to make it a little easier. The reality is: your weapon has to have alot more going on to stop it up, because buildup in that area isn't gonna do it. <thumbsup>Same thing goes for the tail of the bolt...
