SWWI shooter Posted April 14, 2024 Report Posted April 14, 2024 I bought a PA-10 in 308 a couple months ago. I have less than 40 rounds through it and it seems to function well (suppressed) other than it is hard to get loaded rounds out of the chamber when I want to unload. I really have to pull to get them to come out. When I do get them out, they have scratches on the bullet. They are spiral like they are engaging the rifling. 2 different bands of ammo so it appears to be the rifle and not out of spec ammo. From what I know of reloading, a bit of free bore is good to prevent over pressure. Is this dangerous or just an irritation. Thanks in advance.
98Z5V Posted June 28, 2025 Report Posted June 28, 2025 Post pics. Get some pics up of what you're getting out of the chamber - chambered round, unfired, extracted, ejected. Measure the OAL of what you extract. Need to see what it's length is, after you get it out. Measure new, unchambered, unloaded piece of ammunition to compare it to. List the exact ammo, who makes it, the ammo specifics, etc. Dangerous or not? Depends on what you come back with for information...
