NF1E Posted April 12, 2025 Report Posted April 12, 2025 Couple of notes on additional steps that I take during priming of brass. I weigh cases and sort into 1 gn groups. If a case " feels " like the primer is going in too easy I mark the cases with a Sharpie for removal after this firing. Any case that falls into outlier category while weighing are set aside and primers colored with sealing compound and used for foulers. This is a test group of Berdan .308 NATO cases that have been re-loaded in excess of 10 times for an auto-loading rifle and most are still going strong with no separations or neck cracks thanks to annealing prior to each loading. Whatta Hobby!
