I am a patient person, I can wait.

Before the invention of the GPS tracking collar, how did Maine coon hunters find their cats when they treed a coon?

Known as Memorial Day where I come from at least since the 50s. I remember Spanish Am War vets being honored riding in Model T honor car, then the WWI vets , then the Korean, then us Viet vets, now all the others since.

After a few months of not being able to feel brass in my fingers, it's starting to come back 1 and 5 weeks after surgery for carpel tunnel. Doing a bunch of .223 Lapua once fired and chamber formed. Neck sizing, mandrel setting neck tension, primer pocket scrub, neck brush and flash hole uniforming. Only did 50 so far this morning with another couple hundred on the que for today. Raining cats and dogs outside so it a super time to get onto the brass. Whatta Hobby!

Thanks for posting. I have a grandson that serves proudly in the 82nd.

At least the constant pain is finally gone. Nice to sleep at night and feel comfortable during the day. Ahhhh, the miracles of modern medicine and the willingness to accept it. Should have had it done 20 years ago. Whatta Hobby!

Thanks guys. I really do enjoy putting together 1/4 moa shooters. Slight delay for healing. Have had carpel tunnel issues for years. Had release done a month ago on right hand and left yesterday. Should be back to abinormal soon. Whatta Hobby!

Thanks guys. It is a work in progress for a old Marine.

Sure feel nice to be getting some feeling back in my hands and getting out on the range after some time. 100 yd entry for today is a 3-7 shot off a front rest with rear bag. Savage 110 with 26" X-Caliber Heavy SS barrel in an ORYX chassis with a March Majesta scope and OSS suppressor. Ammo is handloaded Lapua lr primed brass with Berger 115 gn fb bullets pushed with 46 gn of Varget to 2940 fps. Second target with a 2-8 just for the halibut. Whatta Hobby!

So far it does not seem to.

Before anyone asks, Brass never hits the dirt and I can't see where tumbling would be a benefit early on. Just a choice with these batches. I do normally tumble and anneal for each loading but these are test batchs I am doing a couple of things on. Also have batches of new Alpha , Peterson and Starline in the test for the halibut. Looking, for myself, just to see if carbon in the case makes any difference in any of the monitored data. Lots of time on my hands in retardedment and enjoy answering some of the questions that have entered my small mind over the years. Whatta Hobby!

Doing some brass prep today myself. No tumbling being done until after 5 or 10 loadings. Brass .308 200 cases is Lapua that was neck turned for truing only then fire formed to the chamber. Today annealing, sizing neck and should bump to .001 and then trimming, setting neck tension with mandrel, primer pockets K&B uniformed. I do enjoy this stuff on a rainy day. When this is all set I will be loading 115gn Berger flat base target bullets over 46 gn of Varget set off with 205M primers. This is my sub 1/4 moa ammo. Has been running at 3025 fps out of a 26" X-Caliber SS 1-10 bull barrel. Whatta Hobby!

Had a chance to shoot with the March scope. Love it so far. Sure can see well for my purposes. Whatta Hobby!

No gold mine, just worked for 65 years and put money in retirement accounts for all of that time. Wanted to be prepared to enjoy life to it's fullest. Review will be along if the weather every decides to agree. Whatta Hobbyh!

Clymer gauges are calibrated very close so you should be good to go. The resistance on the No/Go indicates you are in the right area. Whatta Hobby!

Bought my first March scope recently, the Majesta. Me thinks it will fill a spot in my gear very nicely. At 80x, I hear you can easily see 22 cal holes on paper at 600 yds. Whatta Hobby!

Still messing with this rifle. Set a Leupold MK4 M1-16x on a Basset mount using Leupold QRW rings. Stuck a TAC-PRO cheek riser on the butt. Really looking forward to some agreeing weather to run her through her function and accuracy tests. Whatta Hobby!

Was watching a recent video on UR and decided to try some of this Berger ammo for one of my 1/4" 10 dot challenge projects. Supposed to be the most accurate available. Anyone else vouch for that? Whatta Hobby!

Here we go. Added as new USGI bolt , op rod, Trigger group and other small parts. Fits nicely on my last T44 stock. Whatta Hobby!

I have heard that for the last 60 years from my wife. Whatta Hobby!

I originally put this M-14 JRA group buy receiver together with mixed parts laying around the shop. Now it's time to make things a bit different. Had a Bula suppressor ready 16.5 in barrel and a Winchester bolt installed. Since then I have decided to use one of the Saturn/Liberty SS heavy 22" barrels off the shelf along with one of my USGI SA kits. Cold weather is good for something. Started taking it apart this morning. Whatta Hobby!

All .308 srp cases trimmed, neck trued to .014 and neck tension set to .002 loaded with 110 gn Sierra varminters over 46 gn of Varget using 205M primers. These will be tested using 1/4" 10 dot challenge targets through a Savage 110 with X-Caliber 26" 1-10 bull barrel in ORYX chassis and Jard trigger. Topped off with Leupold MK5 HD 7-35x56. Intention is to shoot 20 rnds of each and alternate between brass over a period of time . Should be a hoot and answer a few questions in the back of my mind just for the halibut. Whatta Hobby! 100 each. 1. Alpha 2. Lapua 3. Peterson 4. Starline

Installed a new Shilen 26" .223 Rem Bull SS ratchet rifled today. Set the headspace to close tightly on a quality .223 go gauge. Whatta Hobby!
