KAK has been crushing it in the recoil system department, for a long, long time.

This new DBC BCG (Dead Blow carrier) is smart as hell.  Their buffer technology has come a long way, as well, and I don't know if I've talked about it here, but I have a couple of their A5 buffers that have a spring in the head - all mechanical, not hydraulic.  Simple.  Uncomplicated.
