Two questions:

1) What are you going to do with the gap left over when you take the old charging handle out?  I'd be heck to shoot with a suppressor attached- gas and smoke will have an unimpeded path to your eyes.  If there is a nice way to cover this (I don't mean black RTV) I might be interested in this mod.

2) How do you dissassemble the bolt with that charging handle?

1. I'm not taking it out.

2. The handle unscrews.

Okay.  That sounds like a pretty simple, straight forward conversion. 

You have to keep us informed as to how well it works. 

What is the projected cost of having this work done?

Not sure at the moment, but general pricing ranges from $100-$400 from what I've seen.

And yes the $400 range is the same thing as the people charging less. No idea how they manage to sucker people for that.  <laughs>
