Rickwv Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 I am in the process of changing out the .920 barrel on my LR-308B with a .750 Fulton Barrel and keeping free floating tube handguard. What is the groups opinion on reusing the barrel nut, after I clean it up. I just don't want to buy another handguard, just to get the barrelnut from DPMSThanksRickwv
survivalshop Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Barrel nut should be fine ,now the gas block, (if different size ) will need to be changed , but I'm sure you knew that.
Rickwv Posted August 26, 2010 Author Report Posted August 26, 2010 Thanks for the info. I ended up having to buy a longer tube anyway and I got a new nut with it. I have a couple of .750 gas blocks from a 6.5 build and will use one of them. Thanks AgainRickwv
