I'm starting with a DPMS lr308 stripped lower receiver and one pmag.    planning on using this site on helping me figure out what way i want to go with this build.  i have two ar15 builds under my belt already. 

funny story on how i acquired  this receiver and the story starts with craigslist...

the short version: found non running s10 1980's blazer on craigslist.  person wanted to trade for scooter.  i happened to have said scooter.  contacted person on craigslist- blazer was gone but has a mossy 500 he'd trade for my non running scooter.  made the trade.  2 days later i head to local GS and they give me $125 in trade for mossy on dpms receiver.  i happily forked over the remaining 180.  :)  was that the short story?

So If i followed correctly your DPMS gets 60 mpg highway with a 24" bull barrel and a Bill Springfield trigger job  <laughs>

interesting, i was looking at bill springfield trigger jobs...  i've been on snipershide doing some homework and a few people over there recommended his trigger jobs.
