YWHIC
The better news is the dealer just swapped the Collapsible stock for an A2 which will help when I travel to NJ to shoot on occasion.. (No collapsibles allowed in NJ) .. all for FREE and on a Sunday before shipping it out to me.. woo hoo..Al

TacBlade
Great looking rifle!!! Why did the dealer pin the Magpul mags to only hold 15 rounds?
YWHIC
Great looking rifle!!! Why did the dealer pin the Magpul mags to only hold 15 rounds?I ordered the 2 mags from RifleGear.Com for $28 each.. they are limited to 15 rounds for NJ regulations.. and since I shoot mostly in NJ it made sense..I got the DPMS AR10 Miculek 'Brake' also for that same reason.. just got to PIN it on.. takes about 10mins to PIN & tack weld over the PIN..The 2 factory mags are 19 rounders and I will more than likely BLOCK/PIN them also.. though I may not and just leave them in PA when I go to NJ to shoot..Thanks... it should look ALOT better by next weekend.. if all the parts come in..Al
TacBlade
I just never heard of the 15 round law, just the 10 round law. Thanks for the info!! Here in South Dakota, you are expected to show up with no less than 20 30rnd mags with your AR15, as the Prairie Dogs are thick around here!!! LOL!!!! YWHIC
ghitch75..Not yet.. picking it up tommorrow at dinner time from the FFL person..I have 2 reduced count mags (15 round) coming in from RifleGear on Thursady, so I can maybe shoot it this weekend.. I go to a 200 yard range in NJ.. (hence the mags and other BS I have to do to this precious thing)..I'll have this week to put it together (with the accessories) and oil/TW25B her up.. Cabinetman
Hope you ordered the correct front sight. The BUIS setups are nortoriously poorly described and because of the lower gas block on these rifles, the set you ordered has to be able to accomodate that difference. Don't throw away the wrappers! LOLI got a set from ProMag that worked perfectly as it's designed to be used on different planes unlike most other sets that are designed to be used on the same plane like on flat-top AR-15 rifles.Other than that you've got a good setup coming. I'm glad I bought the 18" barrel but with I might have elected the standard diameter one instead of the bull barrel. It's uber accurate but a bit on the heavy side. Not worth replacing at this point but maybe sometime in the future.Have a great time!Rome
