survivalshop Posted January 1, 2011 Report Share Posted January 1, 2011 I got a couple of hundred rounds of this stuff cheap & its mil spec ball ,149 gr. FMJ & it is short stroking in my 16" 308 with rifle gas system .I have never had a malfunction in this rifle with any thing I put through it . The only problem I have had with this rifle is the bolt hold open with some mags.I did not go through five rounds ,before it FF ,with that cartridge bending jam. I could not even get a box of ammo through it & I had five of those FF .Is there some thing about this ammo I should know about . Any one have problems with it .I got this mainly for the brass to reload ,but man, I have to have some fun shooting it also.I have not tried it in my 20" yet , but I did try several different mags, with the same results out of my 16".
