Hawke Endurance 3-9 x 40

Has anyone tried the Hawke 3-9 x 40?

I've got one on order it should be here tomorrow. Looks like a good deal on an etched glass scope with 308 bdc. any rec commendations on some good scope mounts? Preferrably something light weight and simple.

After all I do plan on hunting with this lr-308

Not familar with that model but I have a Sidewinder 4 x 14 x 50 and it works great on my Ar300WSM gun. I put some plain Jane $50 scope rings I got from Gun ETC on it.
