Madhouse
So, I've got my POF lower and the springs and detent pins for the selector switch and the takedown pin. There is a long spring and a short spring, and a smooth-sided detent and one with a point on one end and a groove in it.JGun told me the that the detent with the groove is for the selector, and that the pin goes point towards the switch and grooved end towards the spring. So, here is my dilemma:I thought the long spring went with the selector detent, but the circumference of the short spring more closely matches the point detent. I think I have my answer, but if I put the smooth detent with the short pin it would just sit inside of it - lol <dontknow>

Madhouse
I got it all worked out, it was as JGun had said, and as I had assumed the rest. Now, how in God's name do you get the detent in the hole for the take-down pin?? <dontknow>
TacBlade
There are 2 detents for the takedown pins and 2 matching springs. There is one detent, with the groove for the selector and it goes with the larger diameter spring. I am pretty sure this is correct.
TacBlade
It is very tricky, but I did it, so anyone can do it!!! LOL!!!I got it all worked out, it was as JGun had said, and as I had assumed the rest. Now, how in God's name do you get the detent in the hole for the take-down pin?? <dontknow>
Madhouse
So, try to cram the detent in the hole first, then slide the take-down pin in over it? Man, these small parts are hell unless you have hands the size of my wife's!
