Gas port size on new 308 build

I am finally getting close to finishing my 308 biuld! I know they are a different beast than it's little brother. I am having a 20 inch rifle length barrel cut down to 18 inches. I was wondering what people here have found to be a good size for the gas port diameter for an 18 inch rifle length barrel.

Most (if not all) 308-ARs are already overgassed. Don't lose sleep over this. It's not worth the concern - your rifle will cycle properly as-is.
