sellmarkguy
I would like to see if you guys have any suggestions on which paint would work best for my DPMS AP4.I want to paint the buttstock, pistol grip and maybe the handguard. I checked Krylon's website, but I wasnt satisfied with their Camo color selection. (Their brown was too dark.)I want a color that's somewhere in between Light tan and Brown. This is a price option for someone who does not want to spend the time (or money) on a Cerakote or Duracoat job.Any ideas, anyone? TacBlade
Brownells has some very good options. They sell some stuff that is like spraypaint, but is a lot more durable!
TacBlade
I just went and checked what I had, and its the Alluma-Hyde II spray paint. Don't let the name fool you, it is for all surfaces!!!

sellmarkguy
Schur, you're the man..I'm all over that Earth Brown. I am going to follow the same steps that you would normally usefor Aluma-Hyde paint, (Pre heating) and doing a couple of coats. If you have any suggestions for patterns, suggested components, which combosto use, I am all 'ears'.Thanks
