Well, I took her out to the range today! Function was flawless, flinging brass at 4 o'oclock in a neat little pile. I was surprised at how low the recoil was. The ARP MCD did a good job with muzzle jump and felt recoil. It probably also helps that the rifle weighs about 12.5lbs! The only slight downside to the whole trip was the grouping. All I had was 150g UMC I managed to squeeze about a 2-2.5" 5-shot group right at the end, but I think this rifle is going to like pills in the 160-175g range. Overall, I'm pleased as can be with the function of this build. Since the rifle is done, I guess the new project will be finding the right bullet for it! Here's some pics of the beast and the whole family!
