Thanks but I need to finish it. I have my hands in to much other stuff..like kids and wife. I have however bought my Tundra and paid cash for it and my wife Avalon. Bought a few nice side arms and started another 5.56 build.

The barrel now has about 90 rounds through it. I put put 40 down the pipe. No sights yet but used a cheap bone collector optics 3x9x40 600BDC. It has the 16 inch dpms carbine barrel with a si defense upper, troy free float, DMR Trigger ( I Fing love ) DPMS lower ACS stock which I may look into FAB Defence. I think I am going to look at barrel options.

Some of you may or may not remember, but a few YEARS ago I done a build and today was the first time I fired it. It ran flawlessly even though I was all over the paper. I will be doi g a barrel swap real soon.

I love it! It feels great in the hands and shoot great also. The weight is prefect for a shooter. I went out today and held a scorpion 380..it was nice also. The shop I am dealing with was closed but I will be talking to them tomorrow morning. If they can't get what I want then the shop I was at today can and they are aslo the ones who had the Scorpion 1911 I have on the shelf. I can get the TacOps TB 1911 for 938.00 so we will see.

Well guys aftef carful consideration I am not getting the kimber. I have look at the STI's and I'm just not liking that line. I looked at the New Custom Thompson and a Dan Wesson and Wilson Combat is just not going to happen. So in the end my Sig Scorpion will be joined by a Sig Tactical TB.

I am looking at buying a Kimber and I have found one I like. It is a Custom CDP II. Which Kimber (s) do you like and why? There are many so give some reasons about the one you would choose over the Custom CDP II.

I have a little while to worry about ammo but I will keep this in mind.

Yeah 98 I have had my share of military ranges but out to 500 with iron sights with the M16A2. Im not really building this rifle for anything more that just a build. Although hunting with it would not be out of the question. My barrel will be the Voodoo 1-8 middy. I would like at a minimum 1/2-1 inch moa if I could get better that would be great. Ammo used will be off the shelf. I still have not got around to reloading bbbb ut I have bought up a crap load of components and equipment.

I am worried about accuracy with a 14.5 barrel and this kit. I guess if all else fails then I will order a barrel and use the 14.5 else where

Nice man!! So did you ever get to swap out for a mag release and what kind of groups are you getting?

Robo what barrel and trigger are you using? What kind of groups are you getting and distance?

This build consists of a spikes lower, not sure of the upper just yet, some armalite, some magpul , some Battle Arms, some seekings , some KNS Precession and the Adams Arms piston kit with that Voodoo barrel and low mass carrier. I will also be running the H2 buffer. I am thinking the lantic dragon, maybe a Fortis rail if not a Sampson.

I just ordered a Adams Arms piston kit with the 14.5 voodoo barrel. I hope it is worth it! I am building this spikes lower with a lot of great goodies. I have a few more parts to order then it is going to be time to buy me a media blast cabinet and a cerakote kit. Even though it is 5.56, and I have not been on here in about 2 years there will be pictures to follow.

If that was all that was left in the world it would be of great use to me, and we are not far from this sinario! :'(
