Mr Matt.Cross posted a thread on installing the VTAC FFT ( http://308ar.com/forum/index.php/topic,328.0.html ) Does anyone know where to find that barrel nut wrench used on the VTAC nut in the thread? Or at least have any info on one that will suffice. I have the PRI wrench but I'm not sure it is going to work. I know the AR15 VTAC FFTs use the standard armorers wrench but I'm just not sure about the LR308, as it seems everything about the lr308 is always one off. Great how to thread good info! I will need that information real soon, like Tuesday :) however I still need to locate a suitable wrench.

What paint did you use on that handguard? Looks like a great match to the Magpul stuff. Very nice rifle maxgusmc! <thumbsup>

Now that youve had some time to use the rifle with the 15.5 VTAC how do you like it? I ask because I am trying to decide if I want the 12.5 or the 15.5, it will be going on a 20" barrel.

Found this site while searching for more info on the lr-308, looks like a great place to get the knowledge needed to comeplete the 308 build I have recently begun. I have built a couple black rifles over the past year or two, a couple 5.56 and one in 6.8, figured it was time to do one in 308. :)
