    Glock 17 Mags

Are the magazines interchangeable between the G17 Gen 3 to Gen 4?
  3. The amazing iPhone, there's an app for that. <thumbsup>
  4. Al Gore invented the internet.
  5. Yes, the original rings were too short, had to get the taller set. Thanks for the kind words 8)
  6. I received the new Mec-Gar 18 rnd mags and they are fantastic! no rattling rounds at all, as a matter of fact they seem to be of better quality than the original Sig magazines that came with the pistol. It think I'll order a few more. :)
  7. Tactical Tailor has some nice gear. http://www.tacticaltailor.com/CatalogueRetrieve.aspx?ProductID=3249247&A=SearchResult&SearchID=2528728&ObjectID=3249247&ObjectType=27
  8. I have the 9mm and its a brand spanking new gun. I just placed an order for some Mec-Gar 18 round mags, we'll see if they exhibit the same issue. I will check on the Wolf springs, thanks for the suggestion.
  9. Thanks for the reply, however I already pack as I load, usually every 5 rounds or so I give it a tap. But for some reason it doesn't seem to do any good on these mags. I have never experienced this in a magazine before and it bugs me, perhaps I'm just being too picky. <dontknow>
  10. I have a question about my new p226, it seems once the magazine is fully loaded it rattles like a box of rocks, i have unloaded and loaded, tried various levels and anything above 9 rounds it will feel like the rounds are floating loose inside. It doesnt seem to effect feed but it sure bugs the crap out of me. Any ideas, or after market mags that dont have this issue?
  11. If you are planning on having the hand-guard cover your gas block, it is more than likely you will need to get one that is low profile. Ofcourse, it really depends on the dimensions of the one you have. FWIW, The JP VTAC tube is smaller in diameter than most hand guards, which will limit what you can use. I used a standard low profile gas block and it works great. If you choose to go with the JP VTAC, you wont be sorry about your choice, I have really enjoyed mine! <thumbsup>
  12. I have the TM 10 lower and have had no complaints, its a real nice lower for a fair price. I have a thread around here somewhere with some pics of my build. I used the DPMS stripped upper and it fits and looks great with the TM10, buy and build with confidence using the TM10 lower. <thumbsup>
