Good question. I had read full length for ars due to cycling issues but I believe rcbs makes ar dies which I think may crimp the case and I got the impression reading about them that its kind of in between neck and full length sizing. I do t know if they make them in. 308. I was looking for.223. Just thought id share. I don't know of anyone with experience win em.

I have a dillon rl550b and am just about ready to start using it. I primed my brass and I like the machine because I can use it single or progressive.

Looks like it really does a good job. How consistent is the length from case to case?

It is a fun ride. Kind of expensive. Id have my. 308 built in no time if I didn't have it. I just put a battery in it. Needs a drive and tensioning pulley plus a.c. belt. On top of that it needs suspension bushings and bearings. That's a nice barrel and bolt there.

Jump started both my gm cars. Somehow both batteries stb same time. But I love my g8 and impala. I may have to part with my g8. Sad face. But I do have a 308 dpms to build. I can see passing that down to my 5 month old daughter more so than the car.

Yeah I wont know till the water recedes if the corn is still standing. Its possible but the water could of contaminated it. Lots of money right there. Just got to keep on keeping on I guess.

Im not far from Albany and we got at least 7" as of 2pm. One corn field is flooded uptown about a foot below the top of the corn and both driveways are washed out

I had he Eotech 557and fts magnifier. The 557 had a ballisticly calibrated reticle for 300,400,500,600 meters. I think they make it for. 308 as well. I sold the setup for another rifle and was unsure about sighting the magnifier itself. I loved it and bought another Eotech. An xps2-0 this time. I noticed the dots don't seem so precise but it is very nice. I like the field of view.

I am setting up my dillon 550b now. Im reloading. 223 first and just got my caliber conversion kit. Still need dies and case prep stuff as well. Just putting parts together.

Im glad I did. I've never fired a 30 caliber ar. I do like the caliber in other rifles. Ill search around the forum for information and am very confident the members will help me on the build. Thanks everyone.

I passed up a chance to get an armalite ar-10t when I came off active duty in the army. I soon got a dpms bull twenty for a nice accurate rifle. I've since wanted a 30 caliber ar so i put a dpms lower on layaway to build one. I am a member on the acr forum and came here to learn the. 308 ar platform.
