I reload and use Lapua brass Hornady 165g SST with Varget powder. This round is very accurate with no FTF. I am getting ready to load some Barnes 165g TTSX will advise.

It was a good thing for me to zero the turrents once I had scope dialed in. It makes distance and windage adjustment and it is easier to return to dead center at zero. Agree?

starting to see some buffer wear on the botton. I know this is acommon deal with a piston upper. I have a NiB carrier group. It. there a matching hardness buffer tube. None of the guns have this. Can you fix bolt rise? Or I need to get over it as part of the piston system. I do like the piston system easy to clean. It also works so well in SBRs

Ruger 10/22 I have seen guys what have spent 2k on highly customized rifles carbon barrels etc. Gun must weight 3 lbs it shot like amazing. But the cost wow.

I have a Browning camper 22 that I used to,teach kids and wife to shoot with. My GSG 5 looks just like a MP5 I added a Burris fast fire red dot it is so much fun to pick off rodents. The girls love to shoot it. My mistake was showing them the DD M4 now I think that like as much.

Mine is pretty new less than 500 rds when I use my new brass loads no brass but with mil surplus I get brass. I also had a top,rail,screw shear off a small screw that holds then top,rail,on. I will,have to get taped at my gun smith. Gun is as accurate as Remington 700. So,easy to clean I,run mine fairly wet with Miltech 1

All my other guns were semi auto. 5.56, 6.8. My 308 was a remington 700 with a Timney trigger but missed the semi sold the 700 replaced with a POF P 308 and she is so sweet.

I tried a 50/50 mixture of Koil and shooters choice and that did not work I will try 100% and see what happens. Thnaks for the info.

I just ran around 60 rds in the P308 I broke it down to clean and I could not get the plug clean. I tried every carbon cleaner and even broke out my dermel tool with some bore polish. still not new clean. any ideas? It sure shoots sweet. I like my guns squeaky clean. As always thanks for the info.

I started the AR platform in 5.56 was a lot of fun easy to clean and no recoil. Moved a AR in 6.8 and loved it. My Remington 700 XTR was fun to shot but I missed the semi-auto. So now my POF P 308 is a blast. Guess I like the bigger bang. And only one shot does the job. Still love my ARP 6.8.

Got her ready to go just need the sun to come out.
