That is a good list. I think with armalite coming out with the new pattern, pmags will fit most modern 308 lowers.

yes, I've read that pof uppers won't fit dpms lowers. I know armalite won't mate but there has to be more that fit/don't fit. I just thought it might be good to put a list together given the sales of dpms?

Ok, I haven't seen this here so if I missed it, I am sorry but I have found some old analysis on other sites. What 308 uppers from other manufacturers will fitt the dpms lowers? I use dpms cause they are so abundant. Should we compile a list for each maker?

gotcha and thanks for the replies. I have a fsc30 on one of my 6.8 and I think that is too loud so perhaps I'll look at something else. I do like the babc however and of course, the surefire is effective as well.

no, i have a lr-308b that wasn't threaded. I have to measure it but looks like it's a standard sass barrel diameter. I was doing some research and looks like most 308 brakes will work. I might have jumped the gun a bit, sorry. any experience with the SJC Titan brake?

I'm trying to decide on a brake, any suggestions that would fit the sass barrel after I have it threaded? Is this even an issue like with some bull barrels?

SWFA SS fixed power scopes are a great option on a budget but have incredible value. You should take a look at them vs what you have listed there imho.

You won't be sorry with pst viper line at all. The glass is very good, sturdy, waterproof, positive clicks, great warranty and the people that have them usually buy more than one. On snipershide, the reviews are outstanding. The viper line is put together in the phillipines but the glass is Japanese. I believe the pst and razor lines are put together in Japan but could be wrong there. I have several pst's and and regular viper series scope and I couldn't be happier. Another great option is the SWFA SS line. These are excellent scopes for the money. I believe these just won a sf contract and again, great no questions warranty. I have one on a dpms 308 and I like it. Again, great reviews on the hide. For the price, you cannot beat either of these

agree with this....'for the money' implies a budget constraint, if so, dpms lr-308b as it's got the same barrel as the dpms sass. These rifles do indeed get good reviews for accuracy and are inexpensive enough that you can get a good trigger and a scope for what the mws and obr would alone cost you. imo

just out of curiousity, what other handguards do the magpul rail adapters fit?
