  1. If anyone has one of these laying around they don't want, let me know. I need one for a Christmas gift. Thanks.
  2. OH, I see. Trolling for a cheap EBR eh. I'll be keeping an eye on you.
  3. Which brand of .308 did you get Eagle 10? Crap! Now what did I do? Fonts all messed-up!
  4. I have not posted pics yet. Does that mean you don't believe my rifle exists? Been a member for about a year now.
  5. Yup, handle is really smooth and strong feeling. Makes me wonder why Armalite doesn't upgrade the handle at the factory.
  6. Well 98Z5V, if the parts are interchangeable, I agree, it should work. If it's anything like my experience with the BCM Gunfighter handle, it may require some gunsmithing. I'll try one. Thanks for the advice. I'll let y'all know how it works out.
  7. OK problem fixed. I returned the handle to the store. The store offered to let their gunsmith to have a look at it, and he noticed that the handle was binding at the bottom of the handle, against the upper. He filed down on it a bit, and it worked perfectly. Just needed to widen out the "V"-shaped grove to allow for more clearance. Now were good to go.
  8. Yes, but the gummit sez there is no inflation.
  9. We need a sticky listing which aftermarket parts are / are not compatible with the AR10.
  10. Thanks for the fix imschur, and for the advice unforgiven. When they put processers in firearms, I'm done.
  11. Sorry, I don't understand why the strike-outs occured. Couldn't get it to go away, even when I started over. Upper and lower fit normally. When i forced the take-down pin in, I was unable to withdraw the charging handle. I had to tap both pins out to fix and remove the handle.
  12. Got the BCM Gunfighter today, and when I installed it, I found that the rear take-down pin won't snap in. Everything else seems to fit OK. Length is the same as the OEM handle. I wonder what the difference is?
  13. E-mailed Phase 5 tactical to order one of these, and they replied that the EBRv2/308 won't work on the AR10. Have you personal experience with these to know differently?
  14. Will a BCM Gunfighter charging handle work with the AR10?
  15. Where can I get one of these? The usual places don't show the 308 version.
  16. I have a Armalite AR-10B (does not accept P-mags) and would like to put a ambi. bolt catch lever on it. Will the Phase 5 tactical EBRv2/308 work? Does anyone have another sugestion?
  17. Folding A2 style front sight is now installed. Barrel is perfect under the gas block. No scratches or marring. I also went with the ARMS 40 L SP rear folding site. Man that A2 front really looks cool. Thanks for the advice on that. I'll get some pics up soon.
  18. Gun is back home today. Armalite replaced the BCG and the action works smooth as silk now. No specifics on what the problem was but, I see now how easy the action should have been to operate. There is no doubt that something was not right. Armalite was great. They even tuned the trigger free for my trouble.
  19. Send me one of each, and I'll post pics. <thumbsup>
  20. Just wanting some reviews of the National Match trigger from anyone that has experience with them. How does it compare to other aftermarket triggers? I am thinking of having my Tactical trigger converted to Nat. Match.
  21. Gun took a ride in a brown truck back to Geneseo IL today.
  22. Winchester 7.64 with 150 gr. fmj.
  23. I'll try. I'n not sure I can photograph that.
  24. Could this be the answer to my question posed in my posts concerning the difficulty I have pulling the charging handle back to open the action from a closed bolt position? Could my new AR-10 carbine just be tight? Can I expect it to improve with break-in?
  25. Well, I received the new charging handle today. No change in the stuck bolt. I think that the lugs are tight . I guess I'll call ArmaLite tomorrow and see what's next. Another thing I noticed is the firing pin has a bulge on the tip. It doesn't come to a tapered point. If I press on the firing pin when it is in the bolt carrier, it sticks in the pin hole. Could this indicate a problem related to the sticky bolt? Keep in mind that when firing live rounds, that the gun fires and cycles normally.
