I just recieved my Geissele sd-c trigger today for my ar-15(planning to get one for my ar-10 soon). it is now installed and feels fan-freakin-tastic :banana:. i am going shooting this sunday so i will report back A.S.A.P.

i just did the horusvision demo with the rangefinder, I WANT THAT ONE. i guess i gotta sell a kidney or start prostituting... :bj:

the funny part is i am an ammo deale, i think that is the definition of irony <lmao>, i will am going to try the heavier spring, but first gonna run a few other manufacturer's ammo...

i want to shoot 1000 yards, but i dont know what my full intention is yet with this gun, i already own an eotech and a 5x magnifier(both in American defense mounts on my ar15) so i can do some shorter range stuff if i choose. also my 308 has troy buis on it already. i own the magpul series of blurays,(totally homo for those guys :limp-wrist:) i just purchased the precision rifle set 2 weeks ago and they take an 18" ar-10 platform semi auto out to 1 mile and smack steel in 2 shots, hell one guy did it first try with a bolt gun. anyway sorry for the ramble... i wanna shoot 1000 yards :sniper:

i am going to buy some glass for my rifle and i was looking at the swfa 20x scope. i will eventually buy something with adjustable magnification, but for now i believe this will work great as i have never owned any decent glass before. what are your thoughts?

went to the range today and fired some factory new ammo to start, all worked well and she runs fantastic, i even had some nice flamethrower action with the muzzle brake. i then swith to some seller & bellot suplus ammo, and well i guess its too old. 20% fired first strike, 65% fired on a second hit, and the remaining didnot go off. i believe i have a heavier hammer spring laying around here from my ar15 that might allow me to run the rest of the ammo(i still have 150rnds). other than that, i love it and need to sight the irons in next range trip(she was on the 8" plate at 50yards everytime). thanks to everyone's knowledge and assistance on here :auto: <thumbsup>

the FA762K can

i ordered the surefire 762 muzzle brake from larue tactical 2 weeks agoand it happened to be on back order, i found the same brake from colonial armory in tennessee. i called larue to cancel my order and they said "actually we shipped the brake yesterday", funny thing is they told me yesterday that it would be 2 more weeks. so long story short, i now have 2 of these surefire brakes enroute to me. the retail on the brake is $149.99, i figured i would offer it to someone on here as they are out of stock and on back order everywhere with no definate arrival time. I will entertain any resonable offers and we can work out payment(money order, credit card, paypal) once we agree on a price. any questions let me know

thank you sir, i think i am gonna change the rail on the 556 to a 12" daniel lite, also i spoke with larue today and still no idea on the surefire 762 brake. i have, however, found one at a shop in Tennessee and will be ordering it tomorrow as i spoke with the owner on a message board tonight

finally pics of the rifles, 308(bottom), 556(top),and broken BCM upper.the ar15 has the new barrel,surefire mb556 and upper i just picked up.

the car-10 buffer definately works in the UBR stock, my buddy just installed them on his 308

well i found a brand new forged upper receiver from one of the local shops here this weekend at the show. I only paid 60 bucks for it so I couldnt pass it up. since i found this one, i will be doing a billet upper and lower formy next rifle project...

i have the 12" troy 308 battlerail and i love it, i promise to get pics up soon, worth the 200 bucks all day :banana:

sweet, i have narrowed it down to 2 then, rainier ultra match or vltor mur.

is the saa a standard beefed up milspec lower or a beefed up billet?

what lowers are your rainier ultra match uppers on?

:2nd:yes they do, the mur is not in stock at rainier currently, but on vltor's website it states the mur will fit most milspec lowers and my spikes along with many others i have seen here in florida(spikes shop in 90 mins away), the spikes lower always seems to have a good fit. I will double check with rainier, but I feel pretty certain that if I get the go ahead from Rainier the MUR will be the BCM replacement. I work all the gunshows with my buddies ammo business and sometimes nice stuff shows up at the show,which I can test fit right there, but never know who has what till I arrive, sure does make things nice

i found the vltor mur with bolt assist in stock at a dealer, so that might be my new joint. also if BCM will do some type of assistance with my broken piece i will have an upper for sale cheap.

I believe my upper is a factory BCM upper, I have had great service with rainier arms on my 308 parts, so i will call them. I have tried to contact BCM a few times about some of their uppers by no reply yet. I dont have a problem with spikes uppers, but if i am gonna get something nicer than what i have, spikes uppers are similar to many other manufacturers out there, and I know rainier has a product just like spikes and better. also i didnot use heat as the upper failed in the PB Blaster phase of work

I have a spikes lower and was looking at the rainier arms billet upper, will that one match? what about black rain ord upper? I dont want to bail on my lower if i dont have to...

had it in the " pin block" holder, i DIDNOT assemble this upper, and the barrel nut is super f#*&in tight, i put a fair amount of force on it and crack...guess i will get a billet upper now, which one?
