  1. I'm all in on a group buy too don't know who or how to organize one but I have been on the site today and am ready to spend $495 if another cheaper option is not available.
  2. Welcome from Texas, I'm new too on this forum but these guys make a fellar feel welcome....and that new trigger Easy is speaking of I ha have my eyes on and wallet aimed at as well....that is if it's the Tac-Con.....supposed to be out in December....thanks fer yer service one Nav Vet to another.
  3. I emailed them yesterday and haven't heard anything yet, since you have some inside track I would really be interested in any news you recieve, Please post anything you learn ASAP, I am eager to purchace a new trigger and if I am going to spend a little more on this than say a Tmney so be it, I am ready to part with some cash in exchange for some awesome fun trigger. :auto:
  4. Thanks Sketch As soon as I get the new trigger I will really start dialing in my dope and post some results, I'm just playing with some plinking right now don't want to go through too many rounds untill I have it set up to my liking. However right out of the box after a quick field strip and perfunctory cleaning I ran about 40 rounds through and it performed flawlessly as I would hope and expect, I will be running it through the gauntlet with differnent ammo, distances and scope vs sights etc...once the new trigger has been done...I haven't made up my mind on which one to go with yet.... Honey do's are getting in the way of progress for the next few weeks and maybe two months with the Holiday's so it may be after the New year before I get to really work the gun. I am going to try to squeeze some rounds off inbetween despite the Holiday chaos.
  5. Hey ya'll I'm south of Houston nearly bordering Brazos Bend State Park...I have the pleasure and good fortune to step out back and shoot on my own property since i am on acreage and directly behind my property is over 1000 acres of pasture...so I don't go to any range but my own, but I'm happy to join so many Texas 308 gunners.
  6. Hi ya'll I just bought me a new SR 762 and was looking for a new trigger because the one on this rifle is pretty heavy anyway thats how I ended up discovering this site, I have a Dragonov 762x54R but this is my first NATO and I went with the gas piston instead of the DGI Stoner set up...I even took the risk of getting into an entire newly developed gun just came out in Oct, though the design is based off of Rugers SR556 that has been proven a reliable and good gas piston platform...Ruger just did one better with this one in my opinion...anyway I am happy to join the group and discuss 308AR's.
  7. I just bought one of these and I love it. I thought I would share it. http://www.ruger.com/products/sr762/index.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfIupprJPpw http://www.realguns.com/articles/548.htm

  9. Hi ya'll Newb to the forum I just discovered it while reaserching a new trigger replacement for my new SR762 typical stiff Ruger trigger....I saw this... http://tacfirecon.com/ and nearly had a happy pants accident  anyway I hope it will be compatible and leagal, I contacted the company for more info, I live in the gun freindly Lone Star state so if its BATFE approved I am all in. I was considering the Geissele, Pact or Timney until I saw this one. I sure hope it will be compatible with my new gas piston.... crossing my fingers for possitive results. :auto: ETA: I didnt think about it before posting but I know some folks are down on Ruger because of old man Rugers involvement years ago in advising the gun regulators on lower capacity magazines, but they have come a long way since then under new management...anyway that aside if anyone is intersted in the new SR 762 here are a couple links...I own a two AR15s DGI's an ATI and Core and this sr762 is my first foray into the gas piston market, I really like it and hope it will earn some respect in the community over time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfIupprJPpw http://www.realguns.com/articles/548.htm http://www.ruger.com/products/sr762/index.html
