Here's the Pics of My beard. I would have responded sooner but I was sick for about a week. Then I got distracted by My 51 Packard I'm getting it ready to paint. If anyone's interested in seeing it here's a link to photobucket. http://s1050.photobucket.com/user/stuwpidasso/library/Packard%20Project?sort=3&page=1

It's not a Fire breather. You can see a small fire ball about 2 inch's around the muzzle as far as recoil there's very little. My Wife might shoot more than 3 rnds at a time.
-
About 7 ounces. Most of My shooting is using the bipod on the Table or Prone. I hope it doesn't do that. I'll find out tonight I live in the Desert with no other Houses close by. My Beard is almost to My stomach and I don't need a Turkish shave.

I have the compensator installed but it'll be a week or two before I can get to the Range. I'll be back with a review. Thanks for compliments. Gary

You hurt My feelings so badly I hid under My Wife's skirt. When I saw what was there I forgot to come out. :D I've been out of town getting some new Toys. A Winchester 1894 30-30 made 1929, Two Carcano 6.5 Carbines one was made in 1929 the other was made in 1942, an L.C. Smith 12ga SXS made in 1908. It was a package deal with a price I couldn't pass up. Yes the Rule strikes again. I'll get this Muzzle Brake in the next week or so and I'll let You know if I have a new item for My Rifle or a new fishing weight.
-
Does Anyone have an opinion on this Muzzle Brake? Good or Bad. I'm looking at this on gunbroker. If there's no opinions I'll buy it and let You know. http//www.gunbroker.com/auction/veiwitem.aspx?Item=461951285 Thanks

Problem solved. I installed the 2 stage Trigger in My Wife's AR 15 and all's well one trigger pull one shot. I read a lot bad things about the CMMG 2 stage Trigger, But that's what the budget would allow. I wanted to get Her shooting as soon as I could. The negative reviews I read had Me concerned but the trigger I got works great. It's real smooth and has a light pull. When I installed it I noticed the gas key was loose. I used red lock tight staked it with a center punch but knew that would not be the final fix. I bought Her a Nickel Boron BCG, reloaded 500 rounds for Her now We need to get to the Range and have some fun, Again Thanks for all the help I got from You Guys. This Forum is Great.

Congratulations on the NEW Track Record You Guys are putting some serious HP to the Pavement. My GO Fast days are behind Me, Now I take in the scenery.

I can Play a Gun better than I can Play a Guitar. When I'm Home that's where Our Guns are. The Guitars are in the closet until I want start Learning again.

shibiwan, enjoy that trail bike and don't forget the rifle Scabbard on the front end, Thanks for the Compliments. <thumbsup> Here are Pictures of when I Bought it in 1981. The 1st one is in the Garage where it Burned the next is when I got it Home after a couple cans of easy-off oven cleaner at the car wash. The 3rd Picture is My latest Build. When I put the 120ci motor in My Dresser I had good 80ci motor and that was the start of My Wife's New Springer. Yes that's Our living room. There's no room left in the Garage for assembly and She didn't complain until I started it in the House and took it out the front door.
-
If You don't mind I'll add these. Here's a few from My collection. The Dresser is a 1992 FLHTCU with a 120ci 130hp motor with a 48mm Carb and a 6 speed Trans. The Blue one is a 1956 FL Panhead 77ci Motor with a lot of internal work and a 4 speed Trans. ( It's Won 9 bike Shows between 90-96) It took 1 1/2 years to Build and 3 months to pay for Chrome and Gold Plating. Still looks almost as good Today as it did then. Pictured below it is My Wife's 98 Softail Springer. My self and a Co-worker getting ready to test ride Sheriff's Bikes after working on them. (before Retirement) The primer Trike is a 1953 Servi-car Metermaid Bike 47ci Motor with a lot of internal work and a 3 speed Trans. Under construction but can be riden as is. On the floor is the 120ci Motor for the Dresser. There's a couple more but I don't have pictures that will post.

I'll make sure of that. Thanks. I know the old Guns pretty good but the AR Platform is new to Me. I've had them less than a Year and this is the first problem to come up. With the Expert guidance I'm getting on this Forum I'll pick it up as I go along. Ps. Does the "Rule" apply to Guys that don't know anything?

When we went to the Range it did it again :auto:. I just ordered a two stage trigger set that rides on bronze bushings. I think She'll like it I know I will. I really have to get this repaired. The Gun Club We belong to shares the Range with 2 PDs, County Sheriffs Office, State Park Officers, CHP and the local DEA Officers. It's unstaffed but the Sheriffs Office has video on the Firing line. I don't need to do this with Officers there and I don't want to get Arrested. C:-) Thanks Again to all who helped diagnose this Fun problem.

Yes I did, I know a Winchester 1890 is not very Tactical but I'm sure I can pickup a little knowledge from You Guys. -
Thanks for all of the info and recommendations <thumbsup>. After I get the cases prepped My Wife will sort by head stamp then I'll weigh them. We're going to be real busy We have 3 to 4 thousand 223/5.56 cases to sort I've been saving all our brass for about 9 months. The 308 will be easy right now I have less than 200 cases to prep sort and weigh. I'll have to take a break soon to go our Gun club Range and test them. Our Pistol Range is 40 yards x 75 yards and the Rifle Range is 200 yards with hanging steel Targets at 100 and 200 yards. We also have Target stands to place where We want. Tannerite is allowed. To see what it looks like here's the web address. www.krgc.org

I'm new to Reloading (about 4 Months) Can Someone let Me know if there is an advantage to sorting brass by Head stamp and case weight? (same caliber) Is it best to keep the same Head stamps in groups and Load separate from other Head stamps? I have not had any problems caused by not sorting. I want to get the best I can from my Reloads. I've just been Loading all Head stamps together. I Reload 223, 308, .25 Rem (for a 102 yr. old Model 14 Rifle) and 9mm. Thanks in Advance

I always go to Rinkor Arms in Santa Rosa CA, They have a Great Staff of knowledgeable and Friendly People. Owner, Don Rinkor Manager, Brian and My go to Guy is Jay. I bought all of My Rifles there. They have between 75 and 100 Rifles on display at all times and many Pistols, Revolvers and Semi Autos with a large selection of Safes and ammo in all calibers even 22LR. If not in stock They'll order it. Private Party transfers are no problem. No I do not work there. I got in to the FCG & found little pieces of debris in it. I cleaned & lubed it all and reassembled. Went to the Range on Friday all went well. Single shot with every pull of the Trigger. Thanks Again for all of the Replies and Greetings. Here's a Pic of My 308 and it's companions. Left to Right. 2013 CMMG 308 MK3,2012 JK Mustang Raptor 5.56,1939 Remington model 31 16 gauge, 1928 Winchester model 90 22LR, 1912 Remington Model 14 .25Rem, 1911 Winchester model 1890 22WRF. Glock 17 Gen 3 9mm. I know that there not all 308's but it's still fun to shoot them.

Thanks to all who replied. I will take it apart tonight and see if anything stands out as a problem. If nothing does I'll just order a two stage trigger kit that I've been looking at.

Good Day to All My Wife & I went to our Gun club Range to Celebrate our Anniversary 7/8/78 :auto:. We were making a lot of noise when Her AR15 FTF I stopped shooting My 308 to check on it. I put in a new magazine and it fired once and next pull of the trigger it let out a burst of 3 rounds. I opened it and could not see significant wear I put in another mag and tried again 1st pull of the trigger was another burst of three rounds tried one more mag another burst of three rounds. Some of the ammo were reloads and some were factory ammo. Is it just worn parts in the trigger group or something more serious that I should be looking for? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
