Timney Rocks. I currently use them on 8 of my rifles including my 308LR

You stated the upper has M-4 feed ramps. Is the barrel an M-4? A pic of the feed ramps might help the group decide if it's a feed ramp issue. I may also be a combo of tight chamber and ammo issue. (308 verses 7.67 cases)

I must commend those two young warriors for thier restraint. After serving 30+ years in the Navy, I would have required him to remove that uniform on the spot. Not sure what I would have done with the uniform......there's a lot of money tied up there....donate it to a VA hospital I guess. There are many deserving war heros there..............

Yea, I have two of those air-soft guns....one with a kool silencer!

I have a lower and upper from DGW. Both are well made and a higher quality than the DPMS I've had in the past. The last DPMS upper I received from Brownells had smashed threads from the brotching process on the alingment notch. DGW seemed to have a better QA from what I've seen.........so far.

Yes, I will have the project complete this weekend and the first thing I'll do is weigh it (with the scope & rings) then take some pics. The barrel alone is just over 5#

As soon as I get it together (still waiting on a few parts) I'll post some picks. I can tell you, it's very light weight and comes with it's own handguard wrench. The 24" fluted bull barrel I'm using for the build is quite heavy though.

Went with the Midwest 15" ........matches up very nice with my DPMS Low profile upper.

Roger that..........my build will be a lower from Detriot Gun Works with a DPMS upper and 24" flutted bull barrel 308. Timney trigger, Magpul funiture and a 15" Midwest Industries hand guard.

I have a hunt camp near Appomattox.
