    My only gripe about the MTAC series is the goofy reticle, but that's just me because Im used to either a standard crosshair or a mildot crosshair. YMMV

    Thank you :) My only gripe about the DPMS is, since I'm a left-handed shooter, a slick side rifle SUCKS. Constant brass to the face.

    That is actually what I run since it was the EXACT thing I was issued while active duty. I also have the assault pack that I picked up for a decent price. Those things (ruck and assault pack) are rugged as all heck.

    I noticed ONE inaccuracy on your list. The Sig 716 WILL take SR25 magazines, and not AR10

    Exactly, the BBL on my DPMS likes 147gr FMJ. But each gusn is different

    But not new to .308 ARs. Up until last november I had an ArmaLite AR-10 that I had to part with due to financial reasons. Now I'm replacing it with a DPMS Sportical and will hopefully be able to get some range time with it very soon. Hopefully I can learn a thing or 2 during my time here.
