Took the sig 716 out for the weekend, to help and let a good friend of mine get some more range time and connect over shooting stuff. :) Still haven't crossed 1000 rounds but heres some photos of the weekend with a special treat of the 1895 swedish mauser getting some lovin' Hope y'all enjoy! :auto:

Give it a few hundred rounds. Mine left brass shavings like no other until I got about 500 rounds into her. She still leaves a little shaving but nothing like it was. And looking good, actually took mine out this weekend. Ill see about getting some photos up on a new page for y'all to see when I get around to it. :) :auto:

I try for every trip, but I usually end up getting distracted and can't clean it till the next trip. But any longer than 2 trips or at least a month of sitting i try to make room to clean it! <lmao>

Mines stayed fairly clean, I'll usually give it 2 trips to the range then clean it. The piston takes most of the gas and what not, I've found it to be the biggest pain to clean and get back to looking new.

I believe its a design feature on the BCG, Mine is the same way and all the other ones I've seen are this way.

Thats still better than mine, though I did buy the 3gun heavy, she was 11 pounds naked. Hahaha But Yeah I can't wait to see some range photos of her!

The sig piston is short stroke.

That a nice looking 716. They are a beast! I love mine and wouldn't trade it for anything. But I'm guessing that one doesn't weigh no 15 pounds like mine. <thumbsup>

I will definitely check them out. I might also have to check the suppressors the father of the girl I've been hanging around makes. He just started putting them out and I'll be filing through him, so I may check his stuff out!

The Hk sadly isn't threaded already, but I have found a barrel for it. And I'll look into storm lake. I'll have to check them out! And Thanks so far guys! Still comparing my options but when I finally do get the paper work filled out and submitted I will let y'all know what I ended up getting!

Looking at getting a suppressor for the Sig 716, I was looking at getting a silencer co specwar 762. Just curious if any one here has used them or has any recommendations for something other than silencer co. I was also looking at AAC. This will be my first suppressor purchase that probably won't get paper work filled out till july at the current moment, just looking at my choices. Also I know this could go into the hand gun suppressors but any recommendations on a suppressor for my hk usp and springfield XD would also be appreciated! Thanks Guys!
