Was also a starting point for me, Played with the ar15 platform at the range several times, Don't care for the 5.56/.223. I wanted more range and power. Was actually looking at building around the 6.5 cartridge, have an older swedish mauser in 6.5x55 and love the 6.5. But ended up with .308 due to price. And I will say that my piston driven sig 716 feels about the same as DI ar15 in the sense of recoil. And personally I like it better. :))

I've used the 5.56 variant and enjoyed the hell out of it, but when I was looking at my .308 due to using the POF before I was leaning towards it, but for the same price of the POF, I got my Longer barrel and upgraded trigger in my sig for the same price, And I to have heard mixed review on them, I wouldn't mind one of their sbr's but probably would end up getting something else due to personal preference. They Are fun rifles that is for sure! Also the first rifle to make me swap over to piston over DI

I got some cheap pair of safety glasses I bought a few months back, they get used for both work and shooting, and they are due to be replaced. They have stopped more stuff at work that could be just as dangerous as a bullet...

I also don't care for the M9, ever since they day I shot one. Loaded it up, pulled the trigger and nothing happened... Was like what. Let go of the trigger and the thing went off. Everyone I have talked to blames the ammo, Which it could have been. But nope not a fan. Also its ugly as hell.

Wasn't there a movie not to long ago about the korean's attacking the white house, believe it was White House Down? Surprised we didn't have a fit over that...

But I guess, North Korea is a bigger threat then anything else. I mean com on. We laugh at North korea Like a girl Laughs at a small P****.
