If anyone is still looking for a BCG, we are having a 20% off sale on all complete BCGs today for Black Friday.
-
-
A combination of that and being out of the country this past week for some customer meetings. Stan, I believe your order when out with a batch today.
-
No idea. You'd have to measure the outside dimension of the tube.
-
I believe it is the ACS-L. The -L is a slimmed down version of the ACS. https://www.magpul.com/products/firearms-accessories/buttstocks/acs-l-carbine-stock-mil-spec

Im not 100% sure what you mean by that. The bcg will work in any DPMS compatible upper, but since it doesn't have FA cuts, the FA will lose functionality. (Though if it doesn't chamber in the first place, it's generally not a good idea to force it in there)

That code ended. Check the other for sale thread I posted the other day :)

In the past few weeks, I've been getting into reloading, so this evening I was setting up some load development to figure out what the gun likes. I noticed initially when shooting the surplus ammo in past weeks, the gun wasn't grouping particularly well, but I chalked it up to it being surplus ammo and didn't think anything of it. When I was shooting my reloads today, I figured for the hell of it I would test a string with and another without the suppressor I made. Much to my surprise, the gun still doesn't shoot that well un-suppressed, but does seem to shoot pretty well suppressed, especially with 42.5gr of powder. I'm really scratching my head as to first why the gun is so in-accurate, and second, how my Form 1 can managed to increase accuracy...... Reloads Lake city brass (full length re-sized) CCI 200 Primers IMR 4064 Powder (41-43grs in 0.5gr steps) 175gr SMKs 2.80 COAL The gun CMMG 1:10 twist barrel My own bolt Form 1 can (that apparently contains unicorn dust) Un-suppressed Suppressed

Hit the range again today. Managed to break my bolt catch because I forgot to turn the gas down.

I have one that popped up today. Send me a PM if you're interested. -
Yessir. Pretty close to the Appleton Airport. http://www.twincityrodandgun.com/
-
It didn't get it stellar results when I shot for groups out of my 1:10 twist barrel barrel, though that could have been because of the 3.5lb trigger.
-
Didn't have a problem hitting the gong at 300 yds this afternoon with surplus Hirtenberger ammo.

After looking out in the shop today, it looks like you guys bought all the ones we had laying around. Give it a few more weeks and one or two might spring up. -
Standard LR308 bolts, like I make, aren't the best inherent design for HP rounds because of the large firing pin diameter. Granted I haven't seen or experienced a ruptured primer in the years I've been make bolts to this design shooting standard 7.62 ball ammo and most commercial .308 ammo. But for the long range guys that are loading rounds hotter, there is a tendency for the primers to crater and a chance of blowing out a poorly seated primer. As for the fluting, it's there to be a little different than every one else's. It does lighten the carrier up a slight amount, but nothing noteworthy.

awwwwwww yeah

Have these on my LR308 and love them. Have a regular set of MBUS Pro's on a 9mm AR and love those too. Have a KAC 600m set on my 5.56 SBR and they are kind of meh...

Stopping in a bit late to the game, but my vote would be for the d.wilson bcg, though I'm a bit partial.
